| Our mission is to welcome women & their families to the Salina Community and develop lifelong friendships! We know that for many, moving to a new community provides a number of challenges which at times can feel daunting especially, without a network of friends. Salina Newcomers’ wants to be your network! Our hope is that our mission will be accomplished by providing each member with a host of opportunities to learn about Salina’s cultural, epicurian and family offerings in casual settings. |
- To seek individuals new to town or wanting to expand their current circle of friends.
- To actively participate in the Salina Community by serving as a volunteer organization.
- To serve women of all ages, family situations & careers by providing many opportunities each month where they can meet new friends at luncheons, dinners, coffees and hobby nights.
- To provide a network of information, support and friendship.
- To provide a support structure during challenging transistions like arriving in a new community, when sick or home with a new baby.
- To provide information on restaurants, educational & volunteer opportunities, family activities and more while providing affordable childcare during these events.
